Assalamu Alaikum!

!السلام عليكم-Assalamu Alaikum!

1 billion salawat

Oh Allah! This is such an ingenius idea! So amazing, seriously! Uniting the whole ummah to do durood! So many Muslims from all over the world, of all ages, sizes, and races... Anyways c'mon you guys, they don't even have 150 million yet, so do as much as you can!!

Please don't curse!!!

"The believer doesn't curse." Al-Tirmidhi

The Prophet,  sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ), said, “The believer does not slander, curse, or speak in an obscene or foul manner.”

In a Hadeeth on the authority of Abu Hurayrah may Allaah be pleased with him the Prophet,  sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ), said: “It does not befit a man of truth to be a curser.”

The Prophet,  sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ), said: “Cursing a believer is like killing him.” Commenting on this Hadeeth, An-Nawawi  may Allaah have mercy upon him said,“According to the apparent meaning of the Hadeeth, both killing and cursing are equal in prohibition, however, killing is graver.” Other scholars said, “Cursing a believer is like killing him with respect to prohibition, guilt and deprivation. This is because cursing is deprivation of the mercy of Allaah The Almighty, and killing is deprivation of life.”
The Prophet,  sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ), said to him:“Do not curse the wind because it is commanded [by Allaah to blow]. Whoever curses something and it does not deserve the curse, the curse will turn back upon him.”

Yup, the day that changed New York as we know it. Instead of blaming who did the terrorist attacks on this day, why not just be united as this country should be and remember people who died on this heroically. And to the non-Muslims out there keep in mind to not blame innocent Muslims for this day. Thanks.......

Eid-ul-Fitr is on August 19, 2012, Sunday. Mashallah, let's rejoice on this beautiful day that comes once a year.

August 17, 2012                                                                 Last taraweeh was tonight. Who knows if we're going to every prayer another taraweeh prayer again? Only Allah (swt) knows. BTW: Eid-ul-Fitr is on Sunday, the 19th of August.  Anyways, Eid mubarak and keep me in your du'as. May Allah (swt) forgive you and accept all your good deeds you have done this Ramadan. May Allah (swt) bless you by letting you live another Ramadan. Ameen....

How wisely Khalil Gibran said: “You may strive to be like kids, but seek not to make them like you.”

We all are born flawless, with all inner purity. How innocent and virtuous were we when we slipped out from our mom’s womb! Slowly, we began to distinguish between right and wrong. Later learned to live without really caring about rights and wrongs. Have a look at those little tots. How pure and appealing are their styles and behaviors. To learn the purity of minds, they are our best teachers. Always, happiness abide in their hearts. They are ecstatic even in small gains. Quickly they forget sorrows. Their disagreements have a very small lifespan. No hatred or pride live in those charming hearts.

We must know and seek The Most Merciful Lord, with the same purity and innocence of a little kid. We should learn to live, behave and love with the same innocence. In this world where rights and wrongs are entwined, our ways should be that of righteousness. Though, wrongs lie and deceptions live in abundance around us, those are not the real ways of this universe. Those are effects of the lack of wisdom and lessons from experience in us. Wise are those who learned from experiences will never see beauty on the faces but in the hearts. Greatness lies in choosing the right even if wrongs and rights are mixed up. In essence, we can surely attain the innocence of a wee kid.

If our little ones cry and confess in front of us, after committing something wrong, our love towards them increases drastically. We will never tend to reprimand them. This is how The Most Compassionate, The Lord of Worlds Allah shows His mercy when we weep in front of Him in repentance. Mothers can forgive any big crimes that their kids had done to them. Allah’s Mercy is much much higher than this. He is the haven of forgiveness where any cruel sinner can go and confess, anytime. He is the Oft-Forgiving Who waits through nights for the repentance of His slaves for the sins happened in the day time and waits through day to accept the repentance of the sins committed at nights. Mothers, they can forget every of their sorrows with a hug from their child. Then think about the mercy and love of Allah who gifted us with such a mother. Through the acts of worship, we turn into kids again and again. The kids with no tinge of sins in their hearts. Salah, Zakat, Fasting and Hajj call us back to our childhood- the season of inner and outer purity.

On the authority of Anas, who said: I heard the messenger of Allah say: Allah the Almighty has said: “O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as its.”

The Prophet, sal Allah alayhi wa sallam, said, “If anyone continually asks forgiveness, Allah will appoint for him a way out of every distress, relief from anxiety, and will provide for him from where he never realized.” [Abu Dawood]

Anas ibn Malik narrated: The Prophet said, "(It happens that) I start the prayer intending to prolong it, but on hearing the cries of a child, I shorten the prayer because I know that the cries of the child will incite its mother's passions." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

“Say: Truly my prayers, and my actions, and my life, and my
death are all for God, the Cherisher of the Universe.” -   Quran -

Abu Hurairah (r.a.) reported: The messenger of Allah (saw) said, "Allah makes the way to Jannah easy for him who treads the path in search of knowledge." [Muslim]

Age is Something that doesn't matter, unless you're a cheese. -Anon

“Forgive him who wrongs you; join him who cuts you off; do good to him who does evil to you; and speak the truth although it be against yourself.”

And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace” [Qur'an Chapter 25, Verse 63]

Once a child, always a child.  -- Anon

Usamah ibn Zaid narrated: Allah's Messenger used to put me on (one of) his thighs and put Al-Hasan ibn `Ali on his other thigh, and then embrace us and say, "O Allah! Please be merciful to them, as I am merciful to them." (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

The Prophet Muhammad (s) said: “Do not turn away a poor man…even if all you can give is half a date. If you love the poor and bring them near you…God will bring you near Him on the Day of Resurrection.”——— Al-Tirmidhi

Anas said, "I did not touch any silk brocade nor silk softer than the palm of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. I did not smell any scent sweeter than the scent of the Messenger of Allah. I served the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, for ten years and he never said to me, 'Uff' nor did he say about anything I had done, 'Why did you do that?' nor about anything I had not done, 'Why did you not do that?'"

Knd Mission

Kids are the most wonderful people on earth. For them, everything in the world is perfect. Kids love life. They don’t care what others think of them. Also, their brains are like sponges as it can absorb information easily and keep things in their minds faster. With all of these, kids can have the best life ever!

Being a kid means being free-spirited so feel free to laugh, play, joke, and just have fun! Being mature doesn’t have to do with age – maturity has to do with your judgment and how you act. Even though you may act like a kid – that does not mean that you’re immature! Stay true to your heart, mind, body and soul. Live life to the fullest!

Kids rule!! Especially Muslim kids!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah, we rule!!!!..... just like in Long Island City Park, the spider thingy.....

You are not only a kid, but a Muslim too. As the Sheikhs from London have said, all you have to do is love Rasullah (SAW) a LOTTTT!!!! If you love someone, you obey them and you show affection towards them. So listen to everything Rasullah (SAW) said, and you'll do fine, Inshallah.

Anyways, my point is be a Muslim Kid Forever!!!!!  Show a smile everyday, laugh whenever you can, help others, show your gratitude,  and most of all, love Rasullah (SAW). Inshallah we will all do this.  Ameen.

"My Lord, increase me in knowledge." [20:114]

My Lord, bestow Your blessings on Muhammad (saw) and his descendants; respond to my prayer when I pray to You; listen to my call when I call You; and turn to me when I make my submission to You in confidence.

“Call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation, and reason with them in the better way.… [Qur'an 16:125]”.
